EXECUTIVE TEAM
Terry Ooten, CEO
Terry Ooten, President of Trademark Development & Construction,
manages all aspects of development, acquisition, financing, insurance, and
design of facilities handled by the company. He will see a project from inception
to close out by being involved with permitting with government officials, bidding
projects, as well as acting as project engineer. Mr. Ooten has 20 years experience
in construction including six years as chief building official for the State
of Florida. His company, Ooten and Associates, P.A., was a successful consulting
engineering company for 12 years.
Past construction projects include multi-family
housing, schools, office buildings, hospitals, correctional facilities, airports,
shopping centers, and a variety of others. Particular interest of late includes
redevelopment, new urbanism, and LEED certified construction, and mixed-use
facilites.
Mr. Ooten holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, with additional
licenses in Plans Review, Building Inspection, Building Codes Administrator,
Certified General Contractor, and Real Estate Broker.
Steve Mattox, Director of Real Estate Operations
Steve Mattox
is the Director of Real Estate Operations, and oversees Trademark Development & Construction regional operations including commercial and
residential real estate marketing, advertising, leasing, public relations and
communications, as well as overseeing the Company’s real estate search
for prospective development projects. Mr. Mattox has over 18 years of real
estate experience with a diversified background in real estate sales, management,
leasing, project feasibility, construction management and real estate development.
As a real estate broker in Florida and Alabama, Mr. Mattox is responsible for
Trademarks management and operations of esidential and commercial real estate
located in NW Florida including Leon, Walton and South Walton counties.
Brittany Bowman, Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Bowman manages daily financial operations, and record keeping. She also ensures compliance with taxing authorities and insurance requirements of subcontractors.
Mrs. Bowman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Taxation. She has 8 years previous experience in accounting, including the public sector performing audits and preparing tax returns.
Brett Maxwell, Director of Construction
Brett oversees all aspects of the daily construction of current projects. This includes managing proposals, coordinating scheduling of subcontractors, overseeing that work is being performed according to plans, and meeting with inspectors.
Mr. Maxwell is a certified General Building Contractor and has a universal EPA certification. He has 35 years previous experience in managing commercial and residential construction projects.
